Defendant David Madrid Fierro was adjudged guilty of first degree murder, A.R.S. § 13-452,*fn* following trial to a jury in the Maricopa County Superior Court and was sentenced to life imprisonment. We have jurisdiction of this appeal pursuant to A.R.S. § 13-1711.
