Description

The #1 New York Times best-selling series

To find a cure for Miss Peregrine, their beloved headmistress, Jacob Portman and his peculiar friends journey through a time loop to London, 1940—the peculiar capital of the world

Having escaped Miss Peregrine’s island by the skin of their teeth, Jacob and the rest of the peculiar children are fleeing the malevolent  wights following them. Miss Peregrine is the only one who can help, but as she is trapped in bird form, the children must take a time loop to World War II London in search of a cure.

Along the way, the children encounter new allies and a menagerie of peculiar animals, but hideous surprises and betrayals lurk around every corner. And before Jacob can deliver the peculiar children to safety, he must make an important decision about his love for Emma Bloom.

Complete with dozens of newly discovered (and thoroughly mesmerizing) vintage photographs, the second chapter of the beloved Peculiar Children series will enchant readers of all ages.

  • One of the only books I’ve enjoyed.

I’m actually speechless after finishing this. It’s like I’ve been on the journey with the characters; I even took this book everywhere I went while reading it. I feel weirdly connected to it in some way, if that makes any sense. I can’t even explain how much I love this series; it’s so well thought out, deep, emotional, and mysterious, with just the right amount of unsettling elements to really hook a reader. I love it. If I could rate this higher than 5 stars, I would. The series has also inspired me to write my own stories, I definitely recommend it for anyone who likes emotional and unsettling stuff. Astonishing. 5/5 (Wrote this when I finished it, July 2nd 2024.)

😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😜😍i read the whole series and i cant remember what happened in the 2nd book, but all i know is this, all of the books were amazing! I wanna see the movie, but it's pg13, and im not allowed to watch violence, which is ironic since my fav geners r horror and adventure! Im just really disappointed that in the movie, Jake falls in love with emma, who can levitate?! 😭😭😭😭😭no!!!!!!!! I ship jake and emma-who can make fire!!!!!!😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭i hate the movies, that ruin the books, and all society knows is the movie. And their just missing out. Just like percy jackson. Um hello? The movie was awful. I know this has nothing to do with this book, but PEOPLE: BOOKS ARE ALWAYS BETTER THAN MOVIES. i read the graphic novel for this and even the book is more indepth, which is rare, considering the fact that im also a huge comic book geek, since im a graphic artist. But anyways, lovelies, read this book. U wont regret it. Also if u like this read MILA 2.0! Anyone who loves this will luv luv mila.

Too tangled in travels that confused the reader. Hard to follow in many parts in the middle. Great beginning and ending.
