Mira Lyn Kelly has done it again with yet another fantastic addition to her Slayers Hockey series. This is a friend’s little sister/off-limits/reluctant roommates book that features two great characters, Bowie and Piper. These two have had feelings for one another for quite some time, but neither one will admit to their attraction. Bowie is broody and moody but ultimately a really good guy who is struggling to come to terms with his attraction to Piper. And Piper is dealing with issues of her own, ones that make her question her self-worth. Watching these two snip and snap at one another, fighting their mutual interest, and ultimately give in to the inevitable was so satisfying. The book has loads of heat and heart. And it’s always fun to get glimpses of the other players and their significant others from past books. I highly recommend this one.

Oh so sweet and sexy. How you could you not absolutely love Grant Bowie. It took him a minute but he finally got out of his own way. I love how he didn’t waver about who his loyalties were with. I liked that Piper was trying to figure out life. Messy isn’t always bad and sometimes it’s down right exciting😉. I can’t wait until Boomer finally gets his. This series is so much fun to read. Until next time y’all happy reading.

I know I say it after every Slayers book is released, but honestly, these stories keep getting better and better! Putting my favorite trop aside...bff's sibling/sibling's bff...the character development and dialogue blew me away. I mean, Ms. Kelly always brings it, but Bowie kicked it up a notch. Especially when he was ready to go all in and didn't let anything stop him from telling Piper exactly how he felt. Give me a hero who's naughty and manly, but who isn't afraid to show his sweet cinnamon roll insides. That's this D-man. And who can resist Piper. This sweet girl may seem like a bit of a hot mess to her brother and some of their teammates, but Bowie sees her for who she is. An intelligent, loving woman who might not know what she wants to do for the rest of her life but hasn't given up trying to find that purpose. Oh, and who wants that teenage crush to someday notice her. Well, that day is here. Low on angst...besides Piper's hotheaded brother Boomer (oh, I can't wait to see him fall) but very high in heat, sweet and fun, Dirty D-Man is filled with heart and good vibes. My favorite kind of romance!

Another great story in the Chicago Slayers hockey series. This time we get Bowie and Piper. I should mention that Piper is the little sister of Boomer who just happens to be Bowie’s best friend. And Boomer is not happy that Bowie broke the bro code and is dating his little sister. Piper has had a crush on Bowie since she was a preteen and he came into her life through her brother and hockey. Bowie always saw Piper as his best friend’s little sister until he went away to play hockey and didn’t see her for a few years. Then he saw her all grown up and realized he didn’t see her as a little sister anymore and he was attracted to her. Of course Boomer is not happy with their relationship when he finds out and it puts a strain on Piper and Bowie. When Piper is between apartments and moves in with her brother and Bowie it gets hard to fight the attraction between them. Then Boomer temporarily has to move out and that leaves Piper and Bowie alone in the apartment they finally start fighting the attraction they have for one another. I am so happy that Boomer’s book is next and I so guessed who his love interest was going to be. Let’s just say I can’t wait for his book! But until then Piper and Bowie’s book was a great addition to this series and was an enjoyable read.
