One of my FAV books by her that I’ve read so far. Very cute, and not overly Christmas. I loved Beat & Melody. I laughed several times which I don’t typically do with books. I am a harsh critic and rarely give out 5s

It’s hard to beat a good Tessa Bailey rom com (with heat!). She consistently gives us a good story, a plot with a few twists and turns, well developed lead characters, and a supporting cast that adds to the fun and moves the plot along. Her books are heads above most in this genre. Plus they are witty and fun to read. And 🔥. What makes Wreck the Halls especially fun is the inclusion of social media/reality TV as almost a third lead character (if that even makes sense). It’s a great plot twist when those that “follow” Beat and Melody through their live-streamed travails realize that they love each other even before they do. And their mothers….trying not to give spoilers here…but the mothers should have their own novella. They are, as my mother would say, “a real hoot!” I loved them both. I deducted 1/2 star because some of the proclivities of the male lead, Beat, were a bit beyond belief but that’s ok… Also the story ended a little too abruptly. I would have liked to have the final concert detailed out to the end. Buy this book. It’s pricier than some but worth it.
