Description

I didn’t come to Silver Point to find love. But it seems determined to find me anyway.

I came to Silver Point for two reasons: to escape the love that broke my heart, and settle my mother’s final affairs. The lake house that she left me is a welcome distraction—but Derek Mullins, the construction worker in charge of the team working on the renovations, is exactly the kind of distraction I don’t need.

He’s sexy, optimistic, and full of charm—not the kind of man who falls for a girl like me. I’m overworked, full of regret, and lonely, with walls higher than the ones surrounding me in this dusty old house. But I’m also more vulnerable than I’ve ever been before, and when love takes us both by surprise, I don’t know if I’ll be strong enough to keep them from crashing down.

I thought I was done with love. But Silver Point is full of surprises—and Derek is one I hadn’t counted on.

Sweet and dreamy. This book was so enjoyable. Just enough of everything. I enjoyed this writer’s style of storytelling 💟 ~Ace

The author has good writing skills but so many inconsistencies with names, thoughts, decisions made and timelines. A lot of text devoted to repeating the same thoughts and feelings by the characters. I almost gave up on finishing about a quarter of the way through,

Really sweet love story! Two hurt souls find each other.
  • Good Story

This was a really good story, I thought. However, there were some glaring grammatical mistakes that I cannot believe any editing program wouldn’t have corrected. One word used isn’t even in the dictionary. So only three stars, although I did like the characters.
  • It was fine

It was cute. Some good spice. An adorable daughter to a single dad. An easy relationship that is mutually lustful. It’s cute. Some things I really hated were that the author couldn’t decide if Melody’s ex was named Evan or Ethan and would change it up mid-paragraph. Also, the whole “walking in on a woman being sexually assaulted and then blaming her for cheating” trope is really gross. But overall it was cute.
