If you’re thinking about reading this book, stop thinking and just get it. The writing is so beautiful, the story full of tragedy and hope. I am better for reading this. The book is long, but the short chapters make the reading easy. Highly recommend this book.

Too many characters, all over the board. Author should have spent more time lacing things together.

I thought the writing was great and the backdrop was a place I once knew, but the more I read, the more horrified I became. I have never quit a book as far into it than I did with this one, and I am an avid reader. I could not take it anymore…especially before going to bed. Sorry..do not recommend.
