    Do you love a good Second Chance romance?! Add in a little enemies to lovers aspect. It’s sexy. It’s spicy. This one is *chef’s kiss*. Dessa and Garrett are straight fire!

    Garrett and Dessa were childhood friends. Their friendship was tested when Dessa started dating Garrett’s brother, Tony. Garrett got drafted by the major leagues and abruptly left town without a word to his best friend. Now that Tony is getting married, Garrett is taking this as his sign to go back and make things right with Dessa and finally tell her how he really feels. I loved Dessa and Garrett, they both mad some issues they need to get past and them getting in their own way is entertaining and fun to read. There is an interesting take on the OM troupe and I really liked that story within a story. Dessa and Garret are couple goals and how they get past their past, and current, mistakes and finally get it right make this a fun, and at times really funny read. Second chance is my favorite troupe and this book checks all the boxes: heat, swoon, and HEA. This book can be read as a stand alone, but book 1 in the Brews & Flings series is worth a read. I recommend this book if you are looking for a romcom sports romance that makes want to laugh.

    How about some seemingly unrequited love amongst best friends turned enemies turned lovers? When written by Gia Stevens, the answer is a resounding ‘Yes!!!”. Well, anything by Gia Stevens is a “Yes!!!”, but I let’s move forward with Garrett and Dessa. Garrett has a lot of groveling and making up to do with Dessa and their journey is filled with laughs, swoons, and a villain you can pour hatred into. A well plotted story of a baseball star looking to prove to our favorite mixologist that she’s number one in his life and that he is in this for the long haul. Looking forward to the next book in the series.

    Consider me malted…I am still tipsy from this one! Second chance romance at its best. Devious actions of a third party result in a rift between Dessa and Garrett but when they finally come face to face years later their connection is irresistible. I loved Dessa’s stubborn feistiness that insulates her kind heart and Garrett’s relentless efforts to get her back in his life are swoon worthy. Their connection demands spicy and sweet moments with passion also erupting in actions that induce a laugh or two. Found family vibes and friendships pitch in to make this one a home run.

    When you are in love with your childhood best friend, but you also want to throttle him when you see him for the first time in 10 years. Garrett is in town because his brother is getting married. Dessa didn’t expect him to waltz into her work, and when she sees him, she May or may not have fainted. 10 years is a long time to go without seeing your best friend, but he thought that she was dating his brother. And he just couldn’t watch them fall in love. He left without saying goodbye to her. He came back to win her heart. He has his work cut out for him, and his brother, even though he got married will try to keep him from getting what he has always wanted. Dessa!

    Amazing read!! Very easy and light. The spice is great too!!! I loved the added pictures throughout the book. Visuals are an important resource. Garret and Dessa are best friends, his brother jams himself in the middle. Garret leaves returning 10 years later but with a determined mind to have her back in his life. They have lots of chemistry and are cute together. His brother is still a jealous dude though. But they overcome it all. I really enjoyed it.
