Etse, a young noble of the nation of Asanteman, is carefree and careless but he is forced to change when death – in the form of Gnaw Maws – begin to plague his country and take friend, family and foe. He must rise to become a leader and a savior against the armies of infected or fall with the rest.
Add to this a hard-as-iron father and a sister who hates him and what he stands for and you have the turning of the bones. But will they ultimately turn towards life or death? Freedom or subjugation?
