Saw the movie first

Not sure if I realized this book was the source.
The movie kept close to the book, with a few things dropped to keep to the allotted time limit.
There were a few words or terms that pulled me out of the story for being not-quite-right (and I've been reading British lit since middle school, so it's not a US/UK thing).
The major error I encountered was bringing Bliss with her: pets entering Britain, last I checked, were subject to a six month quarantine, no matter how current their vaccines.
That said, it was a charming story, and modern reimagining of Pride and Prejudice. The characters were well-defined and I found the ones to root for easily liked.
I want some of that orange cake! My first "fancy" tea in my youth was Constant Comment, which is not overpowered by cinnamon, would go well with it, but so would a good darjeeling or oolong.
