Élisabeth Vigée Le Brun was a French painter who was commissioned by Marie Antoinette on several occasions to paint her royal portrait. Le Brun also painted many self-portraits in a soft, Rococo style. Many of her works hang in the Louvre museum today. This book is a biography of her life with examples of her most well-known works.
