A widower suffers greatly, as does his daughter, when the father is suddenly widowed. He has a hard time both finding a husband for his daughter, and finding a new wife for himself. Some out-of-towners cause trouble and a saloon fight ensues, and a Good Samaritan is badly wounded coming to the father's aid. All seems to go downhill after that.
