Darkstalker (Wings of Fire: Legends)

Normally I don’t do big fancy mature reviews but this one deserves it!! FIFTEEN MILLION STARS ALL THE WAY. THATS WHAT THIS BOOK DESERVES. FIFTEEN. MILLION. STARS. I absolutely love Indigo and Whiteout, they’re so cute! I also love Fathom’s character development, it was really well written. Darkstalker’s too. But my opinions on Pearl and Lagoon: “you little bi—” like I can understand the whole banning animus to protect your kingdom, but KEEPING INDIGO FROM FATHOM WAS DOWNRIGHT SINFUL. I WILL MURDER YOU AND HAUNT YOUR NIGHTMARES FOREVER. My psychoticness aside, let just tell you that for being a history-type book this one is a banger. If I had a list of books I would sell my soul to read again for the first time, this one would take home the gold. It’s surprisingly underrated. The plot was well done, the character development was spot on (hem hem, LISTENER, hem hem), but above all I just love HOW Tui tells the story more than anything. It’s warm and cozy like an actual story, not monotonical and boring like a textbook. What really sets this book apart from the others in this series is the fact that instead of being cliche typical, Tui is writing from the heart—and as a fellow author this is something I can vouch for as difficult to do, especially if the story being written is the first in a series (or a standalone) and there’s a ton of world-building to construct. So, all in all, five stars, and Tui? Love you forever. NOW JUST COME OUT WITH BOOK SIXTEEN ALREADY IM DYING OF BOREDOM I REREAD YOUR ENTIRE SERIES LIKE TEN TIMES AHHHHH Izkitty the crazy 😉

Hello, and I’d like to say I’m a fan of your books,but i just came to say that you have great emanations of different types of life. You taught me that everyone is the same, no matter what type. I appreciate you for doing this, but I wrote this review after one of my many times, so i have decided to tell you that i really like this book, and wish you could consider listening to my report: I wish you could make a darkstalker 2, along with a comic so everyone could experience the reality of the characters behind the pages. As a WOF fan I really like that they made a book about Darkstalker’s past. This book sheds light on his past as well as other things/characters, as well as adding great new characters( indigo,listener,whiteout). It’s very well written and is accurate to the timeline, descriptive, and has beautiful character development. My only complaint is that since this is a prequel written after books 6-10, you are going into this book knowing it has a bad ending. It also is a little depressing to read further into the book, and is overall pretty sad. However they do a good job at making the reader feel sad. While it isn’t my favorite feeling when and after reading a book, it’s still amazing how well they were able to draw these emotions out of the reader. Great book, very well written, sad ending, but also good

Whiteout= THE BEST she’s so sweet and didn’t want any part in war and she was the only thing that kept dark stalker good (the Arctic thing wasn’t her fault it was artic’s fault) -mamba the rainwing And like the #1 whiteout fan
