Description

She gave up everything for family. He never stopped dreaming big. But this Christmas, a spark between them might be the miracle they’ve both been waiting for. Tara Honeycutt doesn’t have time for romance. Not when she’s raising her two younger siblings, juggling part-time jobs, and trying to give them the kind of Christmas they deserve. She’s long since buried her dreams of dancing professionally—and love? That’s a luxury she can’t afford. Jace Applewhite has always believed in the magic of Christmas—and in following his heart. Back in Wishful for the holidays, he’s not expecting to fall head-over-heels for a shy barista with tired eyes, a fierce spirit, and the grace of a ballerina. But when a gas explosion leaves Tara and her family without heat, Jace makes an offer that could change everything. Thrown together at the Applewhite family farm—where twinkle lights, sleigh rides, and sugar cookies come standard—Tara begins to wonder if maybe, just maybe, she hasn’t missed her chance at a happily ever after. Heartwarming, hopeful, and brimming with holiday cheer, Dance Me A Dream is a cozy Christmas romance perfect for fans of sweet love stories, found family, and a hero who believes in happily ever after—even if she doesn’t yet.

I’d read about Tara and Jace in separate books but it was so sweet to read about their story.

This book is a great story about turning a bad teenage memory into a happier ending. Lexi and Zach were the couple who never knew they should be together growing up… until she realized it and put her heart on the line. Poor Zach didn’t know Lexi was crushing on him and thought she was joking when she asked him to prom... will they ever recover after she goes into hiding (from him) for years? It was funny to see their friends’ reactions when the sparks finally happen. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
