Description

Brady Banks.

The Kingsmen’s best wide receiver.
Rich AF.
Hot as hell.
A stallion in the sack.

How do I know that last fact? I may have shared a one-night stand with him six months ago when I was rebounding from a broken heart.

I didn’t forget him, but I was done with him, until I discovered he’s the single dad of the boy I’ve been hired to nanny.

It’s near impossible to ignore my attraction to him now that we’re living under the same roof—but I have no choice.

First, this job pays well, and I need the money to move out of my parents’ spare room.

Second, he’s a public figure and there’s no room for me to get caught up in a scandal with him—I can’t disappoint my parents again.

Third, men like Brady were built to break hearts. I barely managed to piece mine back together after my failed engagement and Brady would do irreparable damage if I gave him the chance.

Let the longest three months of my life begin…

  • Single Dad Deliciousness!

I just cannot resist a single dad, but to add Piper Rayne on top of that is a guarantee that I’ll love it! And Brady and Violet’s story is one I definitely enjoyed! Little Theo was the cutest and left me with the biggest smile in every one of his scenes. If I thought Brady as a dad was hot that was nothing compared to when he went into sexy alpha ‘I want you and only you’ mode. It’s no wonder Violet couldn’t resist temptation. I loved how she strived to live the life she wanted, regardless of what anyone thought. There was some forced proximity going as she was the nanny and boy was that tension thick! I loved it and the anticipation of wondering ,not if but, when they’d give in had me eager to get to the next page. In typical Piper Rayne fashion, they delivered while leading me wanting more with that tasty nugget dropped about the next Kingsmen book. The dual narration between Cindy Kay and Aaron Shedlock was just literal aural goodness. These two not only complimented each other as the ideal Brady and Cindy, their performance made for the perfect complement to this story.

What a fun, sweet story. First, Brady was wonderful- slightly damaged but sweet, respectful and steamy hot. Violet (a Korean heroine!) was smart, sweet, sassy and also well nuanced with the authors providing good insight into expectations that many Asian parents have on their children. Plenty of steam, laughs (I love the cast of characters) and swoons, I’m loving this series and this world! A low angst sports romance with a fun vibe that has run through the first two books of the series and I’m expecting more of the same for the next few!

I absolutely adored Brady and Violet’s story. Theo was also perfect. I loved all of them. Brady is the best dad. Violet’s relationship with Theo was so sweet. I loved the chemistry between Brady and Violet. This was perfect!

I really enjoyed the latest installment to the Kingsman football series. I don’t know why it didn’t click with me in book one, but I remember Brady as a child in his parents, book, Mad About the Banker. I was super excited to have cameos of Jasper and Lennon in this story! This book had it all. Single dad, sport star, second chance, and, of course, falling in love with the nanny. Theo had to be the cutest child of probably almost any book that I’ve read in the past few years. He was simply adorable, and really moved the story along part, kind of like Brady did in his parents’ book. Violet was really smart and sassy, but she was also shy, especially at first when she realizes who she is nannying for. I like the way, Theo’s mom Hannah was written. It would’ve been really easy to make her the harpy ex/villain, but I am glad that wasn’t the path that the authors took. I know that Brady was kind of written as a bit of a playboy in book one, but seeing as how this book really concentrated on his relationship with his son, I think that Piper Rayne did a great job of portraying him as a mature man, without sacrificing the playful and naughtiness of his relationship with Violet. I’m loving this series, and I cannot wait to dive into Chase’s book. I think that one is really going to end up being my favorite. Although, I say that about every book!

The second book in the Kingsmen Football Stars series was a great sports romance. Brady was fun, sweet & sexy and Violet was his perfect match. They had great chemistry from the very beginning. Theo was so adorable. I enjoyed Brady and Violet’s story immensely. Aaron Sherlock and Cindy Kay did a really good job portraying Brady and Violet, as well as the other characters in this book.

This second book in the series was adorable!! I loved the dynamic Brady had with his baby momma and he was so dang good with his daughter! Violet is amazing with his daughter as well and was so professional when she realized who he was…. But man! Their chemistry was fire and I absolutely loved them figuring that out!! His parents also cracked me up!! Great story with a great ending and I most definitely look forward to more of this series!
  • Second chance with the nanny

I loved this book! We met Brady Banks in the first Kingsmen book, where he had had a hot night with Violet Park. Brady really wanted to see Violet again, but she was coming off a broken engagement and wouldn’t give him her last name or phone number. Fast forward six months and Brady needs a nanny to help with his son, Theo while his ex goes on a medical mission for three months. Of course, the ex interviewed the candidates, and hires Violet. I love all of the tropes involved, forbidden romance, single dad/nanny, forced proximity, and sports romance. I think what I loved the most was that it wasn’t insta-love and Violet and Brady built onto their attraction for each other to a deeper love. I really cannot wait for the next book in this series. I received an arc of this book from the author for my honest review.
  • Will Brady Banks kiss Violet Park?

Brady Banks just experienced the best sex with a nimble woman whom he thinks is a gymnast. He is hoping for a repeat performance for last night, but she has other plans. The mysterious woman wants to leave, thanking him for a fun night. The words he would say or write to the name-less or lady of the evening repeated back to him, not liking that feeling. But she thanks him and leaves and for 6 months he is trying to find her again, hoping for another night but nah dah. So back to his normal life, a single Ada’s co-parenting his 5 year old son Theo. His ex Natalie got good news about her job, giving an opportunity to go overseas to Asia and help those in traumatic events. Not wanting to be selfish he gently advise her to take the position and that he’ll help step up rot watch over their son Theo. But since he is in the NFL and training camp is about the start then the preseason start. They agreed to get a live in nanny. Guess who he meets of the first day, the mysterious gymnast Violet Park. There they agree that night just happened that one time and she will be professional and do her job. And he will not cross that line. But, there is still the attraction between each other. Slight flirting would occur, but not in front of Theo. When they think Theo is busy they sneak into the pantry for kisses or other things. But Theo has caught them a few times. I adored e relationship of Brady and Theo, how attentive his is towards his son. When he is how his attention is towards his son. And that the sexy smart nanny isn’t far from his mind either. Can Brady keep his hands off the nanny until Hannah comes back and maybe they can start a relationship normally?
  • So much chemistry

We’ve known Brady for a long time. We all fell in love with his 5 year old energy when Jasper & Lennon found love in Mad About The Banker. But in Lee Burrows book, we find he’s quite the ladies man & playboy. He’s the best wide receiver for the San Fran Kingsmen after all. But one spectacular night stand, an anonymous one at that, changed that course for the better. Violet Park, she’s another one of those jaded by love girls who just want to take the leap to get back out there. No rebound for her! But her anonymous one night stand has imprinted on her way more than she bargained for. This addition to the Kingsmen series is not to be missed. I devoured this book and was a little upset when it was over. Who doesn’t love a one night stand or nanny read. Brady & Violet’s chemistry was so potent, every interaction between them was tense & sometimes adorably awkward. That pantry didn’t stand a chance, ha. And I loved the way that Violet was with Brady’s son, Theo & the way that he just took to her & loved her from the beginning. I also loved the relationship that Brady had with Theo’s mom, Hannah. Their co-parenting skills are definitely goals if put in that situation. I also loved the addition of the Korean culture & cuisine that were sprinkled in there. Audiobook Review: Aaron Shedlock & Cindy Kay were the perfect fit for these characters. Both drew me in to their characters & kept me wanting more of feeling their emotions.
