I really enjoyed this story. It takes place during the off season and during the summer and starts in Hawaii but actually the characters travel all over. It was a really different story within this series and introduces the readers to the world of surfing. In this story we meet Jace and he is part of the Lauderdale Knights but he was brought in from the minor team to replace a player at the end of the season. He is on vacation in Hawaii with the guys from his team. But he is in a different class as he does not have a contract with the Knights, yet. In Hawaii he meets a shark that takes a bite out him and he is rescued by Tawny. Tawny is a model and famous surfer who is recovering from losing her fiancee in a surfing accident. She rescues Jace and they end up falling for each other. Since Jace has the time he ends up traveling with her and I loved learning about the whole surfing world. While she has freedom and lots of money, Jace becomes something special to her. Can they make it together? What happens when its time for Jace to play hockey and will he end up on the Knights? Those are questions you will have to read this book to find out. A truly awesome read and a really fun story.
