This turned out to be as good a medieval romance as ever Scott wrote. If you are expecting Victorian England this isn't the book for you. But for me I loved Ivanhoe so I found this to be quite a treat.

Not Sherlock Holmes and an excellent story of Knights and chivalry. The writing is long on description and a little short on plot, and the end come pretty abruptly, and I would recommend it to anyone who thinks that Conan Doyle only wrote the Holmes mysteries.

Very good historical fiction. Sr. Arthur does a fantastic job.
