Description

One of New York Times bestselling author Jeffrey Archer's most dazzling thrillers, The Eleventh Commandment.

Connor Fitzgerald has an impressive resume. Military hero. Devoted family man. Servant of his country—as an assassin. Just as he's about to put his twenty-eight-year career at the CIA behind him, he comes up against the most dangerous enemy he's ever faced: His own boss, Helen Dexter.

As Director of the CIA, Dexter has always been the one to hold the strings. But when her status is threatened by a greater power, her only hope for survival is to destroy Fitzgerald. Meanwhile, the country braces itself as tensions with a new Russian leader reach the boiling point…and it's up to Fitzgerald to pull off his most daring mission yet: To save the world. Even if that means risking everything—including his own life—in the process.

I have been a Jeffrey Archer fan for many years, from "Not A Penny More" & "Quiver Full of Arrows" etc. I have read every book written. This, however, will be my last. Once I read the acknowledgement to a Hillary Clinton staffer I knew this would be written from a perspective the antithesis of my own. The overt negative references to "Republicans" was offensive to me and, in light of America today and the low esteem my country is held in directly owing to the current Democrat President, it is laughable. It is unfortunate that Mr. Archer did not take the time or have interest enough to research the damage done by the Democratic Party we now have in America. It will take many years for a Republican President to repair the almost irreparable damage done.

I bought this book thinking that it was new because of the publish date. I had read this book back in the late nineties. They are charging too much for an old book. It is a good read if you haven't read it already

BEWARE!! While this is good read this e-book is a reprint of an earlier work of the same title (1998). If you are along time Jeffrey Archer fan you may have already read it.
