This book was just ok for me. I’m not the biggest fan of sports related romances so I had a hard time making it through this one, but it was ok overall. Looking forward to reading more of Karen’s other books in the future. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Four and a half stars THEIR AFTER HOURS PLAYBOOK by Karen Booth is a story of two rival sports agents who end up discovering how well they truly get along. Zach Armstrong is stepping up to head his father’s flourishing business while Paige Moss is working determinedly to establish hers. Karen Booth writes vividly about the challenges Paige faces as she tries to get her female clients the compensation and deals they deserve. It is safe to say that the struggle for more equitable treatment is a work in progress. Zach basically takes one look at Paige and is hooked, so while he may not have to grind as hard to work deals for his star clients, he certainly has his work cut out for him as he does his best to woo Paige and convince her to give him a chance. Their After Hours Playbook is full of big emotions and heart. Paige and Zach work hard to get their lives to align, and we root for them all the way. Well done, Ms Booth!

This is a relationship built competition and chemistry. This is a modern desire with a more evenly matched hero and heroine but he’s still fabulously wealthy. It’s a quick enjoyable read with some spice and banter. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
