Loved this book, am a Kristen Hannah fan in general. I really didn’t know much about Vietnam, I was not born yet when it started and was 12 when it ended. We studied it a bit in school and it seemed to be an unpleasant topic in general.
To read these details and especially the female perspective was enlightening. I’ve seen the memorial in DC, and am happy to learn more. This was a good read, interesting, captivating, sad and happy at times.
