"A blazing prismatic explosion of color." —Entertainment Weekly
"Powerful and well-crafted . . . Stunning."
Time Magazine

“We were all heading for each other on a collision course, no matter what. Maybe some people are just meant to be in the same story.”

At first, Jude and her twin brother are NoahandJude; inseparable. Noah draws constantly and is falling in love with the charismatic boy next door, while daredevil Jude wears red-red lipstick, cliff-dives, and does all the talking for both of them.

Years later, they are barely speaking. Something has happened to change the twins in different yet equally devastating ways . . . but then Jude meets an intriguing, irresistible boy and a mysterious new mentor.

The early years are Noah’s to tell; the later years are Jude’s. But they each have only half the story, and if they can only find their way back to one another, they’ll have a chance to remake their world.

This radiant, award-winning novel from the acclaimed author of The Sky Is Everywhere will leave you breathless and teary and laughing—often all at once.

This book became my favorite the first time I read it and I’ve re-read it so many times since. The illustrative writing is incredible and Jandy Nelson did absolutely amazing. My tattoo is inspired by the quote, “I gave up practically the whole world for you,” I tell him, walking through the front door of my own love story. “The sun, stars, ocean, trees, everything, I gave it all up for you.”

Yes, I mean it. It’s so well written that I’ve gone back and read it multiple times, sometimes just flipping to a random page and diving back in. It’s colorful, exciting and entirely original. It’s not YA, not a love story—yet it’s both of those things.

Rarely have I encountered characters and their story that has moved me like this one. I’ve read it in electronic form, but am looking for a physical copy for my library.

I’ve never written a review for a book before, but this one deserves it. Wow. The writing is both impeccable and unique, and the story is so beautiful. I will definitely be re-reading this book over and over and over in the future. Amazing.

I’ll Give You Sun is absolutely one of my favorite reads! It takes the reader on a constant ride that makes you feel the highs and lows that Noah and Jude experience. It’s a powerful story that left such an impact! Couldn’t recommend enough!

I do not typically enjoy any kind of romance novels, but I really really like this book. Everything is a full circle and it’s very satisfying to finish!

My absolute favorite book, without a doubt, of all time. You know that question, “If you had to eat one food for the rest of your life, a food that you’d never get tired of, which food would it be”? Simply put, rephrase the food question in book form and this book is that book for me. Every word is worth the read, even the heartbreaking parts that make you have to close the book and calm down before you can open it again. So much of this book can snatch your breath out from underneath you, but this book not only takes your breath away, it also gives you a fresh breath of spring that you never knew you could get from a book. 10/10 would recommend.
