Description

The Bradens are a series of stand-alone romances that may also be enjoyed as part of the larger Love in Bloom series.

IN USA Today bestseller FLIRTING WITH LOVE...
Elisabeth Nash has spent years dreaming of returning to the small town of Trusty, Colorado, where she spent summers with her favorite aunt. When she inherits her aunt's farmette, she closes her Los Angeles pet bakery and pampering business, sure that life in Trusty will be as peaceful and as welcoming as she remembers. But being an outsider in the close-knit town proves to be very different from the happy summers she remembers from her childhood--and falling for Trusty's hot, wealthy, and sinfully irresistible veterinarian, Ross Braden, sends the rumor mill into a frenzy.

Ross Braden learned long ago that gossip spreads faster than weeds in his small hometown, and Ross loves nothing more than his privacy. For that reason, he doesn't date women who live in Trusty. But that was before blond, beautiful, and refreshingly honest Elisabeth Nash flew into his vet clinic seeking help for her panicked piglet and turned his comfortable life--and his heart--inside out.

Despite rumors about Elisabeth's motives toward her aunt's property, passion brews between Elisabeth and Ross. Every steamy kiss and every sensual touch brings the pair closer together, and when Ross helps Elisabeth try to fit into the town he adores, it makes their bond even stronger. But even Elisabeth's efforts toward reaching the community, and the love she and Ross so desperately believe in, might not be enough for the protective small town to offer them a future.

Positive thinking makes things happen. Sometimes we visualize what and or where we are supposed to be in life before it happens. Fate is amazing. A sweet smexy story about Ross and Elizabeth. The narrator has a smooth voice that makes this story come alive.
  • Small Town Romance At Its Best

I absolutely love the town of Trusty and these books set there. This is definitely my new favorite book by this author. Ross Braden is a veterinarian who cares about his patients and his town. He is not looking for a love interest especially one in Trusty where the town gossip and rumor mill will take even the slightest tidbit and turn it into a meal!! Elisabeth Nash has always dreamed of making her home in Trusty ever since spending summers with her aunt there. When she inherits her aunts small farmette, she uproots her LA life and decides to see if she can make a go of it. Melissa Foster sure can write a small town romance with all the heart, sweetness and small town feel that I expect plus delivering with plenty of sexy heat! The narration is awesome. I love listening to this series on audiobook!! -4.5 Stars!-

I love this story and adore Ross Braden & Elisabeth Nash and all the pups too of course. I don't blame Elisabeth for wanting to live in Trusty, I want to move there too! There are some emotional moments due to Ross's job that made me sad but otherwise this was just such a sweet and uplifting love story. The fact that it has a swoonworthy Braden man in it, makes it even more wonderful! I love the banter between all the Bradens and can't seem to get enough of them. And as always, BJ Harrison as narrator, rocks it again!

Flirting with Love was another great read by Melissa Foster. This is Love in Bloom: The Bradens, Book Ten. I listened to the audiobook and absolutely loved how B.J. Harrison brought life to the characters. Elisabeth has always wanted to return to the small town of Trusty, Colorado. This was the town that she spent time with her aunt. She meets Ross when she returns to Trusty after the death of her aunt. Ross is the vet where Elisabeth brings a piglet. I loved Ross and Elisabeth's story and can't wait to read more by Melissa Foster.

Elisabeth Nash spent the summers on her Aunt Cora's farm in Trusty, Colorado when she was little and loved every minute of her time there. After her Aunt Cora passed and left Elisabeth her farm, she packed up her life in California and moved to Trusty. Ross Braden is Trusty's town vet. He has grown up in Trusty and loves everything about it, except for the gossip. The town gossip is one reason why Ross does not date the women there. When Elisabeth shows up at Ross' office with her piglet and create chaos, Ross is intrigued by this new comer to town. Elisabeth has such a loving, caring, nurturing side with the animals that has Ross ready to break his no dating Trusty women rule. Elisabeth and Ross have such a loving, caring relationship for each other as well as their animals. Their chemistry is off of the charts. Flirting with Love is such a sweet and sexy Braden story that leaves you wanting more from them. You just can't help but fall in love with Braden family. Not only did I enjoy reading Flirting with Love, I enjoyed the audio version to it as well. The narrator B J Harrison's voice draws you in to the story even more. His rich voice is entrancing. I have enjoyed him in all of the audio books in this series. I would definitely give the audio version a try, you won't be disappointed.

Elisabeth has always dreamed of making a life in Trusty, the small town where she her aunt ran a pie business, raised a few animals, and made their time together almost magical. So when her aunt passes away and leaves everything to her, she doesn't hesitate to pack up her life and move. Except the town isn't nearly as welcoming as she remembers, and no one seems all that interested in her pet pampering and bakery idea. In fact, their reception of her is downright frosty — with the exception of the handsome veterinarian who lives one property over. The Verdict: Elisabeth may be my favorite character yet. She's perpetually hopeful and sees nearly everything as an opportunity, giving the less than friendly people of Trusty the benefit of the doubt despite their reluctance to accept her. Her love for animals had her running a pet pampering and bakery business back in L.A., but no one in Trusty seems to have any interest in her setting up shop in their town. She goes full steam ahead anyway, confident enough in her worth that she offers her services for free just to get their attention. And along the way, she gets the attention of Ross Braden. Ross knows better than to date a woman in Trusty. With the way the town gossips, everyone would know his business in a matter of seconds, and if the relationship didn't work out, he'd have even more gossip and discomfort to deal with. But Elisabeth is so friendly and unassuming, with a good -hearted quirkiness that he can't seem to get her off his mind once he's met her. From the way she dotes on his dogs to her worry about a runt piglet to her lying in a field at night while singing to a lost cow, she's everything good he's ever looked for in a woman. Their romance is incredibly sweet and seems to bloom before either of them really know what they've gotten themselves into. While the rest of the town assumes she's shown up for no other reason than to sell of her late aunt's property, he quickly sees her for the genuinely good person she is. Between her determination to smile in the face of the town's attitude and his sticking by her side, things start to turn around for her. The genuine friendship between Ross and Elisabeth is wonderful to see, and when the rest of the Braden clan swoops in and adores her as well, all the fun of the previous books in the series is revisited. Of course, it wouldn't be a romance without a little adversity, so when someone from Elisabeth's past shows up to reclaim her, things get a little messy. But both Ross and Elizabeth aren't the type of people to brood silently, and while the angst certainly gets turned up a notch, the way they handle it is just perfect for their characters. The chemistry between them is pretty damned incredible as well, but when it comes down to it, I think it's just Elisabeth that won me over. I'm not sure I've met a character like her before who didn't become some sort of oddball caricature by the end of the book. Elisabeth's eccentricities, however, were simply an extension of her caring nature, not some dramatic attempt to write a too-ideal free spirit, and it made her both believable and relatable. So yeah, I have a new favorite Bradens book…well, at least until I get my hands on the next one, right? ***FicCentral received this book from Tasty Book Tours for free in exchange for an honest review.
