Description

Her fated mate can’t claim her. But she’ll show him what they could have.

Mitchell already watched one mate die. He won’t do it again, so he refuses the bond.

Only fate has other plans, and he can’t help but fall for Dawn and watch her thrive in this new world.

Dawn grew up in shadow but that only made her stronger. She will fight for her mate because she knows though he’s the dominant wolf, she’s strong enough for them both.

There is a new enemy coming for them, one that wants the power the Talon Pack has amassed. They will stop at nothing to destroy them.

But Mitchell and Dawn will fight for their people.

And hopefully…each other.

ARC - I voluntarily offered to review this book with no obligations and my opinions are honest! I felt bad for both Mitchell + Dawn. They were both 2 lost souls in their own pack. Mitchell will do anything to protect his pack, but at the same time he kept his distance. Dawn have a family, but their are not part of a pack. Wolves need a pack to be whole. The attraction is there, but their are to afraid to do anything about it. Until the kiss! Will "friends with benefits" be enough for both of them ? They could be mates. All the signs are there. They just need to complete the mating. Meanwhile, danger is lurking within the packs. Will Mitchell step up to the plate when danger comes for Dawn? Loved the storytelling of this book. I can't wait for Walker's book.

Destiny Disgraced Talon Pack Book 6 by Carrie Ann Ryan ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Destiny Disgraced is book 6 in the Talon Pack series. I enjoy that this is a fantastic addition into the series. It's a interesting book that features a new pack, failures, a double-cross, insecurities of a pack, triumphs, and challenges to the pack. Carrie Ann Ryan is a talented and gifted author, who continues to give us Awesome books to read no matter what genre. Her main characters along with the supporting characters are what makes this book so unique, she creates fabulous world for werewolves, it has a depth that you will thoroughly enjoy, this is Mitchell Brentwood and Dawn Levin story. I absolutely enjoyed reading this book, I did have one issue which is that the story had to end. Mitchell is the Beta enforcer he's whose job it is to try keep the pack alive. He is aware that the pack think he’s a harsh taskmaster which he takes full advantage of by never smiling. Dawn Is the younger generation of Central wolf Pack who was born to pack after their parent escape from the old Central pack. She is strong maternal wolf but submissive this means her wolf’s true calling is to be a protector of children. Her wolf needs to nurture and care for the young of the Pack. Yet without any pups within their den walls, a part of her will always feel broken. Even though Dawn refers to herself as a submissive wolf, I think she has an inner dominant streak. While Mitchell and Dawn struggle with their feelings and attraction for each other, there is a evil force that they can’t ignore. their pack and their allies must face the new enemy, one with revenge and the unknown on their minds. An they are closer than they realize. I love and enjoy the way these characters interact and the support that they give one another. I like how loyal Dawn friends are and the fact they understand that she kept secrets from them that's true friendship. I hope that they each get their own story, as they are off on their own adventures. This book and all of the Talon Pack series are so incredibly great at entertaining the readers. This book is action fill with tension that makes it a great page turner. I am a great fan of Carrie Ann Ryan ability. ABSOLUTELY fantastic story and a highly entertaining read! The story pulls you in from the first chapter in till the end. The character development was on point. The heroine was flawed but yet full of strength. The romance is everything you enjoy reading. The suspense is never overdone. Each book in the series can stands on its own, however for optimal reading pleasure, you’ll want to read them all. If you are look for a fabulous read go ahead and start with this book. You will enjoy Carrie’s writing and her wonderful sense of humor. THIS IS A FABULOUS MUST READ! I certainly recommend this book to readers that is looking for a Phenomenal read. I voluntarily reviewed this book, because I love and can't resist reading Carrie Ann Ryan books! I enjoy sharing my thoughts with my fellow readers

Holy Moly! There is a whole lot going on here in so many different ways and different areas. And wow, there are tons of emotions involved! You can't help but feel for growly Mitchell, hoping he'll find his peace & happiness. And you can't help but love Dawn from the get go. I can't tell you how many times I was in tears or fighting them, so he prepared! But your gonna love every minute of it!! Can't wait to read the next one!
  • Another fabulous story in the Redwood/Talon Pack World!

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review. Carrie Ann Ryan has done it again! I've enjoyed all of the Redwood Pack and Talon Pack books so far, but this one was on a whole different level. A confused beta, and a barista from a pack that isn't a pack, but could be a pack? I was hooked from page 1. Mitchell has a secret. One that no one that is alive knows about. And it is eating him up inside. Dawn is unhappy. She doesn't know who she is or who she is supposed to be. But what they both know, is that they don't want to be mated. I love that there is a HEA, but also a cliffie that leads to the next book. I love the continuing family stories and visits from previous characters. There is always a lot of action in these books, but also a deep sense of family, love and loyalty to balance that out. As Carrie Ann Ryan has said, there is a new "Big Bad" introduced in this story, but there is also a lot of internal conflict within each character. And let's not forget, a Big Surprise that she has thrown in there to keep us on our toes. I never saw it coming, but can't wait to see where she takes it! Another fabulous story in the Redwood/Talon Pack World!

Destiny Disgraced is the sixth book in the Talon Pack series. It could easily be read as a standalone, but like any series, it is always more enjoyable if you know the back stories of the other characters in the books. This is Mitchell, Beta of the Talon Pack and Dawn, sister of the soon-to-be Alpha of the Central Packs story. There is a lot happening in this book and the author throws a completely unexpected twist into the storyline that will impact the future significantly for all shifters. I can't wait to see where she goes with this in future installments of the series. I must say that I loved Mitchell and Dawn's story. Their interactions with each other were wonderful and the sex was hot and steamy. Neither of them wants a mate, for their own personal reasons, but they cannot resist the potential mate pull. I'm glad that they at least recognized rather quickly that that is what was going on between them, because that is probably the only twist in the last book in the series that I didn't like where the author was going with it. I love shifter stories when mates instantly recognize each other as such, even if they don't love each other yet. Lots of things are changing in the shifter world, but how they don't instantly recognize their potential mates wasn't one of my favorite twists in that book. Having said that, watching Mitchell and Dawn work through their attraction was fun to experience. The only complaint I would have about their story was Mitchell's reason for denying his mate. It was very reminiscent of Adam in 'Enforcer's Redemption' Redwood Pack book 3. With Adam my heart was bleeding for the struggle he was going through in accepting his mate, Bay. With Mitchell I was more annoyed than anything. SPOILER ALERT............ Once Mitchell admitted that his previous mate Heather never accepted his wolf, and had never even seen it because she was afraid of it, I wondered why the heck he was still mourning her 35 years later. Not only did she never accept it, or even want to see it in the entire year they were mated, but she was adamant that she never wanted to be turned as well. So she was fine with her mate having to watch her grow old and die. She just came across to me as very selfish. Then, to make it even worse, the human part of Mitchell was able to fall in love with Dawn, but it was his wolf that felt it was a betrayal and fought the potential mating all the way. Why the wolf felt that way I did not know since Heather never accepted him. She wanted to live in her own little selfish world where she could pretend that Mitchell was completely human. I was really hoping that when he finally told everyone about Heather that one of them would say exactly what I'd been thinking. But they all seemed to just think it was very sad and that he had a right to feel that way. Maybe if he had a loving mate that accepted his wolf and wasn't a selfish little twit I would agree, but it didn't come across that way to me. END SPOILER......... So once Mitchell's wolf finally got his head out of his a** and accepted Dawn completely, they were able to be together as mates. Totally worth the read to see that happen. They may have been fooling themselves over what kind of relationship they could have, so when everything finally came together it was a wonderful ending to another great story in the series. The author did introduce which characters would be the main love interests in the next book, and I am looking forward to it, but I am also eagerly awaiting Max's story. If there's anyone who needs his own HEA it's him. Hopefully we won't have to wait too long for his story.

Emotionally gripping, heart pounding action, danger and an intriguing twist that will change their world forever. This latest Talon Pack adventure has it all and them some! Mitchell Brentwood sexy, smart and viewed by all as an over the top taskmaster beta, but he is also a man hunted by the future that was violently ripped away from him (closing himself off seamed like his only option to go on and help save his pack). Dawn Levin is young, bright, sweet, sexy and lives with the stigma of being from a traitorous pack who's sins she must always pay for it seams. The struggle to fight their attraction for so many reasons is gripping and real. Looking forward to the next Talon Pack.
