Description

The Montgomery Ink series by NYT Bestselling Author Carrie Ann Ryan continues when the final Denver Montgomery sibling refuses to fall for his brother’s former flame—the company’s new plumber.
Wes Montgomery watched his entire family fall in love, and now finds himself ready to settle down. Except the one person he seems to find chemistry with is not only his twin’s ex, she also works for Montgomery Inc. But when the two find themselves in one compromising situation after another, Wes realizes he’s having second thoughts about the dynamic woman who’s burst her way into his life. Sure she sets off his temper, but she also makes him hot in every other way possible.
Jillian Reid never loved her best friend like everyone thought she should, so she pushed him away so he could have his future. Now, despite fighting it, she finds herself attracted to the one man she shouldn’t. When her father’s health takes a turn for the worse, and a danger no one saw coming show its face, she’s forced to turn to Wes for help. The two of them have fought off their attraction long enough, and each cave to the desire. But this enemies-to-lovers tale might have an ending no one ever dreamed of.

reviewed this book and have provided my honest thoughts and opinion. I’ve loved the Montgomery’s from the beginning and I was so happy Wes was finally getting his HEA! Carrie Ann Ryan writes a wonderful, exciting story always and this one was no different! It kept the reader interested and wanting more, it was a page turner. Wes Montgomery is the final Montgomery to commit, and after the bruised heart his ex-girlfriend left him with, he’s not in any hurry to settle down. Seeing all the other Montgomery’s find HEA though gives him pause and has him longing for more. He’s always had a standoffish relationship with his company’s plumber, Jillian, but lately their going at each other is starting to feel more like foreplay because it’s more like flirting and is confusing both of them. Wes is an immensely likable guy who’s always been the fixer in his family. He’s the kind of man who always wants to make things right and feels guilt when bad things happen. He’s a supportive man when it comes to family and those he claims as his and every step of the way he let Jillian stand strong and be supportive towards her. Jillian Reid’s always felt alone, despite her strong relationship with her ailing father. Her mother’s walking away when she was young left a hole in her heart and had her doubting HEA. Her friends with benefits relationship with another Montgomery brother, Storm, was merely a stepping stone as she too decides she finally wants something more. However, where she’ll find that something more she doesn’t know but she hopes to one day find it. Events occur that drive Wes and Jillian together and they decide it’s nothing and they are only having fun and nothing else but the more time that passes between the two it’s undeniable the chemistry between them and it pulls them together. It’s what they both need and have wanted but they just didn’t realize it was right in front of them all this time. I loved this story and it was full of steamy scenes and well written and great overall. I can’t wait for the next book from Carrie Ann, I enjoyed all of her series they are all excellent.

I loved this story, even if it was a bit bitter sweet, since it’s the final in the Denver Montgomery siblings series. This story had everything I’ve come to love about this series. It had me laughing and tearing up in equal measures, and I loved the banter between Wes and Jillian. The chemistry between these two was off the charts, and when they finally got together they heated up the pages. Catching up with previous couples from this series is always fun, and we get a little glimpse of what may be to come. Add in some suspenseful moments, and you’ve got a perfect read. I would definitely recommend this read!!!

I wanted this book to be two things for me as a reader. I really wanted Wes and Jillian's story to rock because their tension has been 2 books long! At some point the collision had to happen. (I was particularly found of the barn!) I also wanted this to wrap up all loose ends from other Montgomery stories since this would be the last one. I like the epilogue and to a point it did that, but I feel like there were things left out or that could have been wrapped up better. This book did a good job of setting up the Colorado Springs Montgomery's stories. So, overall, I felt like Wes & Jillians story should have had more to it since we won't likely see them again and I felt that the other Montgomery's were only a gift bag wrapped package, not paper wrapping with a bow. I also would love for a prequel with Marie and Harry.

This book is soooo bittersweet. I couldn't wait to see Wes finally find someone, since he was the last single sibling. In addition, I love that it was Jillian! The bittersweet side, is that this is the last Montgomery Ink book. I know we will see more of these characters in the future, but I'm still sad to see this series end. I'm always sad to see a series end though! This book met every single expectation and more! I love that Carrie Ann always brings great twists to her books! There were many unexpected aspects to this book and many moments that made you go "hmm." In addition to those special moments we had so many emotions in this book. This whole series has always been complex and we always got to feel so many emotions. To me this was one of the more emotional books, and I loved that! On to Wes and Jillian. In Inked Expressions we got to see a little bit of the spark between these two, you know it's going to be good when the couple hates each other before they learn to love each other. I knew they'd be special and Carrie Ann really made them special. It was also nice to see another side to Wes. We only ever see the calm, cool and collected side of him; it was great to see the dirty and sexy side of him. For Jillian we knew very little about her, so I loved getting more details into her life. She went through so much in this book and I was so glad to see her have someone like Wes. Although I'm sad to see the Denver chapter end, I'm really excited about the Colorado Springs Montgomery's. We got to see a little glimpse of them in this book and it made me really excited to see what is to come!

Beautifully written, emotionally thrilling and completely enthralling conclusion to one of my top ten all time favorite big family romantic series. Wes Montgomery is highly organized, sexy, smart and the last Denver Montgomery to fall. Jillian Reid is sexy, sassy and at one time "friends with benefits" with Storm Montgomery (Wes's Twin). She also happens to be the only woman Wes seems to want even with all the reasons he shouldn't. Loved their enemies to lovers journey and the undeniable chemistry between them. Such a thrilling reading experience could not put it down.

I really loved and enjoyed Inked Memories. Such a beautiful and deep story. I loved Wes and Jillian's story but also how we got to see the rest of the family and how they were doing. I have loved this series and family so dang much. They feel like my own family. I am sad to see this series go but cant wait for what the author has next.

I absolutely loved this story!! It was great to get Wes's story finally. I love that this is a standalone novel but if you have read any or all of the previous stories than you get so much more added to them. We get to see all the rest of the Montgomery's as they are so close and so get updates on where each of them and where they're at. I loved the pacing of this book. It drew me in from beginning to end and I never wanted to stop reading or have the story end. I wanted Wes and Jillian to figure things out and get their happy ending but I wasn't ready to leave them behind. The sex is explicit and weaved in perfectly. It fits the characters and the story. I love how Wes and Jillian built their relationship and how they handled the situation that they were in. The characters that Carrie Ann Ryan writes are amazing. They make you part of the story and you get to know them really well. I love this aspect of all of her books. I'm excited that we don't have to leave the Montgomery world for good with the new connection/series that she is going to write, the Montgomery cousins. I'm super excited to see where everything is going to go and can't wait for the snippets of the Denver Montgomery's that we'll see. This was a phenomenal read and I highly recommend checking it out. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

I loved Wes and Jillian’s story. You know you wanted to read it with all the tension between, because you just know something is there. And boy was it ever! When they stop fighting and snipping at each other and actually give in, all sorts of hotness!! And of course, there’s some sadness, stress, and a little intrigue. The Montgomery Family never disappoints, and this is no exception. You’ve done it again Carrie Ann!!! Just loved!
