Description

Cross. Now streaming on Prime Video.

With explosive charges and shocking evidence, Alex Cross is about to face the trial of the century in the #1 New York Times bestselling series.   Alex Cross is on the wrong side of the law. Charged with gunning down followers of his nemesis Gary Soneji in cold blood, he is being turned into the poster child for trigger-happy cops. Cross knows it was self-defense. But will a jury see it that way?   When his former partner Sampson shows up needing his help, Cross jumps at the chance, even if it may end up costing him what's left of his career. When a string of young, blonde women go missing, the investigation leads Cross and Sampson to the most depraved, darkest corners of the internet, where murder is just another form of entertainment.   As the prosecution presents its case, and the nation watches, even those closest to Cross begin to doubt his innocence. If he can't convince his own family that he didn't pull the trigger with intent to kill, how can he hope to persuade a jury? But even with everything on the line, Cross will do whatever it takes to stop a dangerous criminal . . . even if he can't save himself.   Struggling to prove his own innocence and uncover the truth lurking online, Cross must risk everything to save his most at-risk patient of all: himself.

Editor/publisher needs to correct the climbing scene at the beginning.

This is getting very expensive. And, I love it. I have finished the series in 7 months. I would not have survived the pandemic without them. Do you think Alex or Ali can find a cure for COVID?
  • By far the best!

James Patterson is by far the best, I started reading while I was locked up and continued after and he is by far one of the most enjoyable. Best book from especially with Ali.

This book is James Patterson at his finest and that’s due to the fact he hasn’t co authored the book with anyone. This book has more twists and turns than a roller coaster, and it all seems so very realistic.

James Pratterson never disappoints. I have 2bookcases filled with his work and to my delight I Keep finding more. He has turned me into a reading junkie. That is a good thing! I used to write a lot but lacked the gift of using time wisely. Then children and grandchildren. Now at the age of 81 I am playing with the idea of freshening up my skills. If I do it will be because he brought the joy of writing back into my life. THANK YOU! Love your style!

Like all the Alex Cross books, this one kept me flicking pages well into the early morning hours. I could not put it down and when I did, i was only for a brief moment. To give you a better idea, I read all the Alex Cross books this summer and just finished this one before we heard back to another day at school. James Patterson has got to be one of the best authors I have ever read and he never disappoints. I feel like Alex Cross is a real person and I have dove into his life with his wife Bree, children Damon, Jannie and Ali and Nana Mama who held the family in place. I cannot wait for the next one! Huge fan!
  • Worst Alex Cross Novel Ever

This is the last James Patterson novel I will ever purchase. The plot was over worked, breathless and re-manufactured, much like cheap sausage that has been regrinded over and over again. A waste of my time and money

Interesting and a little bit of everything. Interesting computer internet theories. Amazing what computer geeks can do and not always for the right reason.
