Don't miss the #1 New York Times bestselling thriller collaboration from the world's favorite author, James Patterson, and former President Bill Clinton.

An "undeniably gripping ride through the hidden passageways of power and politics" that "moves like Air Force One."  —Michael Connelly, bestselling author of the Lincoln Lawyer series

The President Is Missing confronts a threat so huge that it jeopardizes not just Pennsylvania Avenue and Wall Street, but all of America. Uncertainty and fear grip the nation. There are whispers of cyberterror and espionage and a traitor in the Cabinet. Even the President himself becomes a suspect, and then he disappears from public view ...

Set over the course of three days, The President Is Missing sheds a stunning light upon the inner workings and vulnerabilities of our nation. Filled with information that only a former commander in chief could know, this is the most authentic, terrifying novel to come along in many years.

Very formulaic but not a bad way to pass a few hours; engaging.
  • A little high on the soap box.

Good plot line, but a little preachy about how we should live and think. At times, pounding home an agenda that is valid but not why I bought the book.

Riveting and also enlightening about what goes on in the White House and with the President’s staff.
  • Disappointing

This is not James Patterson, you can hear the politically correct nonsense in the writing; somehow all the people in power for CIA, FBI, and the assassin, for example are women… Stop it lol! It screams lazy writing and desperate attempt to draw the female audience.
  • Needed an easy read outlet

I was looking for a story that was an easy quick read to lose my thoughts in. This story did do that for me all the way to the speech to Congress. Too much! Also awkward as it seemed more of a lecture to the readers, looking for a fiction outlet. Nonetheless I’ll be back when I need the outlet again.
  • Too preachy

Good story and well told but the President’s preachiness distracted from the flow. I did enjoy the insight into some of the inter working of the office.
