Description

Wulf is an ancient Viking warrior with a useful but extremely aggravating power-amnesia. No one who meets him in person can remember him 5 minutes later. It makes it easy to have one-night stands, but hard to have a meaningful relationship, and without true love he can never regain his soul. When he finally meets Cassandra, the one woman who can remember him, she turns out to be the princess of the cursed race he's sworn to hunt-and forbidden to him. The two of them must face ancient curses, prophecies, and the direct meddling of the Greek gods to find true happiness at last.

Wulf meets Cassandra at the Inferno when he rescues her from several Daimons. They share a kiss, but Wulf is cursed so that no one remembers him after he leaves their presence. Neither can stop thinking of the other. It turns out that Cassandra is an Apollite, and she can remember him. They must face a great evil and the machinations of a couple of Goddesses. Will they find a way to beat a curse? If they do are they destined to lose anyway when Cassandra turns 27 in a few short months? I can’t wait to hear more about Urian and Katra. I also loved the cameos from the Dark-Hunters from previous books. I loved this book as I have everything I’ve read by Sherrilyn Kenyon.

This, unfortunately, isn't one of her strongest books. But I'm also not really into romance so take it as you will. This is one you read for background information. The main story is redundant and at times annoying.

Thing book is sweetness incarnate. Beautiful imagery and absolutely heartbreaking. Plus, I truly respected Sherrilyn's writing in this one because she gave the "enemy" a human face and the DH world was never truly the same for me ever again!

Loooved this story! Teaches you so much about the history of Daimons and gives a completely different perspective. A lot of learning in this book! Well written, great hero and heroine, looooved the roles the supporting characters played. One of the best in the series thus far. :)
