I've been reading Larry Niven stories since the 1980s and his work is always the best. He is also one of the best collaborators around (for examples read any of the titles with Jerry Pournelle). Once again Niven tells a great story about the Puppeteers and the Humans of Known Space. I really liked how Niven and Edwards worked in some of the other tales and characters from Niven's short stories. This series has really been interesting to see things from the Puppeteer point of view. Enjoy the story!

I couldn't put it down. I loved getting into the crazy minds of these characters. Plenty of plot twists that I never expected.

Do yourself a favor and read a couple of Niven's short stories first (Neutron Star, At The Core, and others). Even if you don't, this is still a good point to get into his "Known Space" universe. Great storytelling, and absolutely amazing world-building and races. If you like Sci-Fi or technology at all, you have to read this series.
