Fantastic start to a new series. Fast paced read, wonderful characters and leaves you wanting more! Amity Is desperate, her overbearing brother is forcing her to marry. She has no choice but to plan her ruin. Of course if she goes that route she wants the best Rake to do it, plus Roman being her brother’s sworn enemy is a bonus. Roman hates George since he stole the love of his life and when Amity proposes to have her be ruined by his hands, he can’t resist the revenge on George. 4-4.5 Stars! Cute, quick read! I really enjoyed reading this one. This was the first book in the ‘Scandalous Brides’ series and can be read as a standalone. This was my first time reading this author but I’ll definitely be checking out her other works. The beginning is a bit unbelievable but maybe women really did stuff like this way back then, who knows. Desperate times and all that. I loved the main characters, Amity & Roman, they were easily lovable and I was rooting for them to get their HEA ending. The ‘sexy times’ scenes were the perfect amount of heat and details, in my opinion. Truly enjoyed this book and definitely recommend checking it out. *I received this at no charge & I voluntarily left this review.*
