Driven by action, suspense, and a strong heroine, The Faerie War will keep you turning the pages right up until the epic conclusion!

Violet Fairdale is in big trouble. Her home is gone, her beloved forest lies in ruins, the guy she gave her heart to has deserted her—and she doesn’t remember any of it. The powerful Lord Draven is taking over, brainwashing guardians into fighting for him. No one is safe from the evil spreading throughout the fae world.

As alliances are forged between the remaining free fae, Vi struggles to reclaim her identity and figure out where she belongs in this new world. When someone from her past shows up, life gets even more complicated. He brings with him a long-forgotten weapon and an ancient prophecy that places Vi at the center of the fight against Draven.

With the future of the fae world at stake, can Vi carry out the prophecy’s instructions before it’s too late?

WOW. What an epic conclusion of Ryn and Violet's story! So much happened in this book, and it was all amazing. Lots of adventure, lovable new characters, and some surprises and plot twists! And oh, how my heart broke for Ryn in this book. But it's okay, it's all fine now. *deep breaths* What a wonderful writing job. Simply outstanding. I loved the ending of this book, and I honestly don't think it could have been done any better. Absolutely a five star read. Simply magical.

Such a great ending book that ties up all the loose ends from the previous two books. I'm definitely going to read the next two creepy hallow books.

This is the third book of the series and continues our introduction into a new world of fairies and magic. Violet is your navigator into this world and is a very complicated young woman. When we first meet her, she is just finishing her training to become a Guardian. Guardians are trained fairies who are the police so to speak of the fairy world. They are sent to protect humans from fairies and other supernaturals. She has lost both her parents who were also Guardians and is determined to be first in her class. She has totally focused on school and has not had any romantic relationships and is very protective about letting other people into her life. One assignment during that final week dramatically changes her life as well as the life of all of those in the fairy realm. The assignment to protect a human does not go the way she expects and it threatens the success she has worked so hard for as well as her heart. In the second book, she has to re-examine her feelings about people in her life. Her final assignment puts her into a lot of danger. She directly takes on beings in the world that are much more powerful. In this third book, her world is destroyed. She is lost and many friends are now enemies and enemies become friends. It is a world she doesn't know how to navigate. I had not read any previous books by Rachel Morgan until this series and was totally thrilled with this journey. There are lots of surprises in store for the reader and it is like nothing I have read before. If you like an imaginative storyline with characters that invoke strong emotions, definitely read this collection. I have a new favorite author. I received a copy from the author in return for a honest review.

The Faerie Prince is the conclusion to Violet’s story (but thankfully not to the Creepy Hollow world). Violet now has no memory of all the important things is her life, which makes life very hard for Ryn, the love of her life. I just love how he perseveres and is up for winning her heart all over again, if that’s what it takes. I also love how Violet’s love for him transcends the effects of the potion a little bit, proving how strong it really is. The “war” aspects of the book are very compelling and the reader is left rooting for the (inevitable) victory against Lord Draven. Various twists and turns happen along the way, making the story even more interesting. Personally, I was very satisfied with the way this story turned out and would recommend this book and series to anyone who loves fantasy, adventure and romance.
