I loved reading a story where you can feel how the character feels. Great writing and awesome love story with a different type of family dynamics.

I love this series can’t stop reading each book until it’s finished . This is Phoenix and Griffin’s story , Griffin a famous music producer moves to Lake Starlight and has given up his career to raise his son in this small town in Alaska . Phoenix who has always wanted a music career finds a way to meet Griffin by pretending to be a nanny and is hired by him to take care of his son. See what happens that finally leads to a HEA for these two .

How can they get better each time? Elizabeth @ Carolina Chic’s Read Talk about a story to pull out all of your emotions. I felt sadness, longing, and so much love and hope. This family is definitely my favorite fictional family to date. Phoenix’s story is going to just blow you away. Griffin is way to sexy for her own good. That ending WOW! Another enjoyable book by Piper Rayne! This is the sixth book in the Bailey series that are centered on the nine Bailey siblings in a small Alaskan town. What is fun with this series is that the authors tackle a different romance trope in each book. This book centers around Phoenix Bailey, the youngest (along with twin sister Sedona) of the Bailey clan. Phoenix is a bit adrift, she tried to make it in LA as a singer, but came back to Lake Starlight with her tail between her legs. After trying her hand at the various family businesses, she cannot seem to find her place. When she happens upon Griffin Thorne, Lake Starlight’s newest resident, and former music producer, she may have exaggerated her child caring background to finagle a job as Griffin’s sons nanny. This sets up the forbidden Nanny trope (as well as the forbidden friend’s younger sister trope). Griffin and Phoenix are both likable characters and their romance was fun to follow. What kept this from being a five star read for me was that I felt that the romance was a bit rushed. I would have liked a little more interaction between Griffin and Phoenix to see the love develop. Overall it is a great read in a fun series. I received an ARC of this book from the author for my honest review.

I love being immersed in the world of Lake Starlight and the Bailey family!  The only thing missing was the Buzz Wheel stories, but I have a feeling the author is about to come to light soon! This is Phoenix's story, she is the youngest of the Bailey clan and a self-proclaimed black sheep. I love her tough exterior and her sassy attitude.  But I also empathize with her fragility and her bucking the trend and becoming something of her own. Now I know this is Phoenix and Griffin's story, but it is so much more.  I love how each story in this series brings us closer and closer to the whole Bailey clan.  The heartbreak and the happiness. Yes there is a bit of an age gap between Griffin and Phoenix, but come on, it's not that big of a gap and they fit each other so well.  I enjoyed seeing Griffin's passion for music and his passion for Phoenix come to the forefront of this story. I also wanted to shake him and smack him upside the head for making decisions that were not his alone to make, but all comes through at the end! Readers, do yourself a favor and get this book and all the books in the Baileys series.
